What are support services? Independent living is about ensuring you have the choice, control and responsibility over your life. Leeds CIL can support, advise and provide information with the following services – whether you are receiving funding from Leeds City Council (Adult or Children’s Services), NHS Continuing Health Care or funding your own support privately. Leeds CIL is underpinned by social model values and our aim is to support people to be as independent as possible and live the life they choose, thereby aiming to reduce their need for our input over time. Reducing this dependency defines our success and runs through everything we do. We support people to grow in independence and we see a reduction in the need for our support as a success factor. Work in ways to encourage and support the achievement of greater independence, self-reliance and wellbeing for people we support, so that they can live the life they choose. Leeds CIL offer the following services: More information about these can be found on the individual pages: PA Recruitment Service (including our PA Register) Payroll Service Supported Account Service Support Planning Service Employer Essentials Briefings Are you thinking of employing PAs and want to know more about how it works? Do you want to hear from an experienced PA employer about how it works for them? Or are you new to PA employment and want to know more about the process and support available? If you answered yes, then you may be interested in our series of bi-monthly free briefings that cover the essentials of PA employment. These workshops offer a chance for people to share their experiences and learn from each other and there is always time for questions and discussion.
