Leeds CIL provides a full payroll service to individual employers of Personal Assistants. Our dedicated team of Finance Support Workers currently support over 1,000 individual employers to pay their PAs every month, and the number is increasing all the time. If you would like to use our Payroll Service you can make a referral, or contact our Payroll Support Team. Once we have received the referral we will contact you to arrange to meet with you, to give you further details about the service; and if you decide to go ahead, explain the paperwork to be signed (our Payroll Service Agreement and registration form with Her Majesties Revenue & Customs (HMRC)).

Benefits of using our payroll service:

  • Monthly wage payments are made directly to your PA’s bank account
  • Tax and National Insurance deductions are made and paid directly to HMRC
  • Provide monthly pay slips for your workers
  • HMRC (RTI) year end returns are completed and submitted on your behalf
  • You are set up with a pension provider so you can make pension payments to your PA if they are eligible
  • Our Payroll Support workers are available to discuss any related queries
  • P45’s are provided for any employees leaving your employment
  • P60’s are provided for your PA(s) at the end of each tax year

Costs for the payroll service should have been included in your support plan, as part of your Personal Budget funded by Leeds City Council (Adults or Children’s Services, or Personal Health Budget funded by the NHS. If you fund your own care (self-funder) you can also purchase the payroll service from Leeds CIL.
